Your round trip travel lift is on us
For years the round trip travel lift has been our gift to charity raffles and community organizations around the Sound. This fall we are opening it to everyone.
Book work through 30 November and we cover:
- The round trip travel lift — out of the water and back in
- The pressure wash
- The environmental fee
- The 18‑point inspection — a written condition report on eighteen points, in your hands before work is authorized

Offer runs to 30 November 2026 or the first twenty-five boats, both yards combined. Signed work authorization and a card on file before the boat is lifted. Proof of current marine insurance. Vessel ownership must match the documentation. If booked work is canceled after the boat is out of the water, the round trip travel lift is billed at standard rates and the boat is scheduled for launch. Scheduling is subject to lift and yard availability. ESI performs all work. Our standard terms and conditions apply.

Boats do not choose their moment
Grounding, flooding, a failed shaft seal, a hull breach. We run the lift at whatever hour it is needed — call (360) 610-7577 first and sort the paperwork afterwards.

What a haul-out includes
Lift, pressure wash and blocking, with the hull available for survey, paint, running gear or repair. We handle survey haul-outs for buyers and insurers, short hauls for a quick bottom inspection, and long-term blocking for boats in refit. We wash the moment the boat is up, while growth is still soft and comes off in one pass instead of being ground into the gelcoat.
While the boat is out
Because both yards are full-service, the boat does not have to move again. Bottom paint, Hempel Silic One silicone foul-release, topside refinishing in our own booth, fiberglass and composite repair, Yanmar repowers, running gear, and thrusters and stabilizers all happen in the same yard.
The boat stores free while we work on it
As long as we are working on the vessel, we do not charge lay days.
You are not paying storage on a boat we have not finished.

Where we work
Puget Sound, the San Juans and the whole of the Salish Sea
Two yards in the middle of the cruising ground: ESI North in Anacortes, and ESI South on the Swinomish Channel at La Conner.

Boats come up from Seattle and Everett, and down from British Columbia.
The San Juan Islands
We service the San Juan Islands. An island boat is hauled, worked and back in the water without a long delivery at either end of the job.
Tribal fisheries
We haul and maintain tribal fishing vessels alongside the cruising fleet.

An expert technician tests the boat’s systems and writes up every point as Excellent, Good, Monitor, Attention or Critical — a written report telling you what is sound, what to keep an eye on, and what has to be dealt with before it goes back in the water. Free with every job.
