HEMPASPEED TF
For boats that come out of the water.
Silicone wants to stay in. If yours lives on a trailer or winters ashore, this is the coating built for it.
The same technology, in a harder film
Hempaspeed TF is not a different idea from Silic One. It is the same patented hydrogel, infused into a hard acrylic thin film.
Hempel call it a fusion hybrid: the fouling performance of a release coating, in something tough enough to be trailered, blocked and washed.
Completely biocide-free. No copper, nothing leaching, nothing running off your hull.

Built for exactly your boat
Hempel name the application themselves: pleasure boats on lakes and rivers, regatta and racing boats, and trailer boats.
Three months out of the water. Silic One gives you one. That is the difference between a coating that tolerates your winter and one that does not.
And you can pressure wash it. Hempel build it to take a boat washer. On a boat that gets hosed down at the ramp, that matters more than anything else on this page.

In the water
Forty microns of thin film, laid glass-smooth. Minimises growth, minimises drag.
Fresh water and salt — lakes, rivers, the Sound. Rated for all of them, which matters when the boat goes where the trailer takes it.
Safe on aluminium. If yours is a welded skiff or an aluminium runabout, this coating will not start an argument with the hull.

How we apply it
Over Hempel Conversion Primer, two coats minimum, three where the boat earns it.
If your hull already carries sound antifouling, it does not have to come off. One coat of primer and we build straight over it.
We roll it. Hempel permit spray for professionals; we get a better film on a boat this size with a roller, and that is the call we make.
WRITTEN WARRANTY
We provide a 12-month performance warranty.
Not just that the work was done right. That the coating does what we said it would. Haul-out and relaunch included, and it transfers to the next owner if you sell.
Ask your current yard about their performance warranty.
Tell us the boat.
We will tell you what it costs.
